Yiwei Chen is a highly experienced cloud architect, currently serving as a Senior Cloud Architect at Tencent since November 2019 and as an Open Source Evangelist with the Linux Foundation APAC since January 2021. Previously, Yiwei worked as a Cloud Engineer at Bose Corporation and held the role of Cloud Infrastructure Services Engineer at Pearson. Yiwei's expertise includes operational support for Kubernetes production clusters, designing automated solutions for logging and service deployment, and migrating production applications to Amazon Virtual Private Cloud. Earlier experience includes software development internships and trainee positions focused on technology research and project management. Yiwei holds a Master of Science in Computer Engineering from Boston University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
