Robert Montrose

Robert Montrose has over 10 years of work experience in various engineering and project management roles. In 2020, they began their current role as Chief Mechanical Engineer at The Little Car Company. Prior to this, they were Managing Director at MONTYSPORT LIMITED from 2008 to 2020, where they were responsible for project management into series production. Robert also held a two-week temporary contract as a Functional Tester for the Ventilator Challenge UK at Penlon Ltd in 2020. From 2017 to 2020, they were a Senior Project Engineer at hofer powertrain, responsible for multiple systems and components on a state-of-the-art hybrid DCT transmission. Robert was also Lead Engineer - Exterior Trim - Bumpers & Grilles at Jaguar Land Rover from 2017 to 2020, and held multiple roles at Aston Martin Lagonda Ltd from 2011 to 2017, including Senior Project Engineer, Lead Engineer, CAD Designer, and PMST Leader - Body Exteriors and Mechanisms. In 2011, they were a Software Test and Development Engineer at IBM Hursley Laboratories. From 2010 to 2011, they were a Lead Test Engineer at Toumaz Technology. In 2005, they were a Crew Member at Gumball 3000 Ltd. From 2009 to 2010, they were a Windtunnel Test Engineer at AgustaWestland.

Robert Montrose attended Oxford Brookes University from 2000 to 2004 and obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Automotive Engineering.
