Karida Green

Karida Green is a seasoned professional in education and grant management, currently serving as a Grant Management Specialist for the Government of the District of Columbia since July 2023, while also working as a Workforce Development Case Manager at Living Classrooms Foundation since August 2019. Previous experience includes leadership roles such as Director at Wake County Public School System and Family Services Coordinator at District of Columbia Public Schools, focusing on community engagement and support services. With a solid foundation in early childhood education and support through positions at the Virgin Islands Department of Human Services and Lutheran Social Services of the Virgin Islands, Karida Green possesses a strong background in program development, policy recommendations, and crisis intervention. Academic credentials include a Master’s degree in Art Education and Counselor Education from the University of the Virgin Islands and dual Bachelor's degrees in Administration of Justice and Sociology from Howard University and St. Augustine's University, respectively.
