Cortney Weir

Cortney Weir currently serves as the Major Gifts Officer at The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens since July 2024. Prior experience includes the role of Chief Development Officer at DAP Health from November 2022 to September 2023, overseeing development revenue generation for a federally qualified health system. As Regional Director for the Alzheimer's Association California Southland from April 2017 to December 2022, Cortney led staff and regional operations, focusing on program management and advocacy. Previous positions also include Director of State Development for Best Buddies International, Executive Director for the Arthritis Foundation, and Corporate Event Director for the American Heart Association.
