The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens
Hannah Vogt is an experienced animal care professional with a background in zookeeping and animal caregiving. Currently serving as a Zookeeper at The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens since April 2022, Hannah previously worked at Chimp Haven as an Animal Caregiver, dedicating efforts to over 200 chimpanzees in a sanctuary. Hannah's volunteer work includes roles at Nurtured by Nature and SPOT - Saving Pets One at a Time, where responsibilities encompassed maintaining clean environments and providing basic medical care. Additionally, Hannah has experience as an African Tram Guide at San Diego Zoo Global, enhancing visitor engagement through animal behavior interpretation. Educationally, Hannah holds a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from San Diego State University.
