Abby Zalenski Farah

Abby Zalenski Farah, PhD has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Abby currently holds the position of Senior Associate Scientific Director at Lockwood since July 2023, where they previously served as an Associate Scientific Director starting from March 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Medical Writer at Cardinal Health from September 2021 to March 2022. Abby'swork experience also includes being a Graduate Research Associate at the Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center-James Cancer Hospital & Solove Research Institute from July 2017 to September 2021. During their time there, they focused on finding new therapies for glioblastoma and contributed to research projects on normal neurodevelopment and ependymoma. Additionally, they served as a Student Research Assistant at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center from September 2015 to May 2017, where they worked on projects investigating the connection between breast cancer and brain pathology. Earlier in their career, they held a role as a Student Research Assistant at the Ohio State University from May 2014 to September 2015.

Abby Zalenski Farah, PhD, completed their education history as follows: Abby attended The Ohio State University from 2013 to 2017, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Neuroscience. In 2017, they continued their studies at the same institution and obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Neuroscience, which they completed in 2019. Abby Zalenski Farah went on to pursue their passion for Neuroscience, and from 2017 to 2021, they attended The Ohio State University again and successfully obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in the same field.
