Malik Cobb, Sr. has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple companies. Malik began their career at the Addiction Research and Treatment Corporation in 1991, where they served as the Associate Director for Medical Services. In this role, they were responsible for supervising and reviewing the deployment, recruitment, and evaluations of medical staff for methadone maintenance treatment programs in New York City. Malik also oversaw continuing medical education programs, represented the organization at meetings with external and regulatory agencies, and prepared various grant proposals.

In 1996, Malik joined UMDNJ University Hospital as a Senior PA in the Division of Transplant & Hepatobiliary Surgery. Malik'smain responsibilities included overseeing the evaluation process of patients with end-stage liver disease for liver transplantation candidacy, as well as participating in the design and conduct of clinical research. Malik remained in this role until 2008.

Following their time at UMDNJ University Hospital, Malik joined Advanced Clinical Concepts in 2008. Malik initially served as a Scientific Director, before being promoted to the role of Director of Scientific Services in 2012.

Most recently, in 2014, Malik joined Lockwood as a Senior Scientific Director. Malik held various roles within the company, including serving as a Team Lead and ultimately being promoted to the position of VP, Group Scientific Director in August 2021.

Malik Cobb, Sr. pursued their education in a chronological order. From 1985 to 1989, they attended St. John's University where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology/Physician Assistant Studies. Following this, from 1989 to 1991, they enrolled at Bayley Seton Hospital to complete their studies in physician assistant, earning a PA degree.
