Lit!commons Poetry Pathway Teaching Artist at The Loft Literary Center

Kathryn Kysar is a experienced poetry editor, literary career coach, creative writing mentor, editor, coach, and workshop instructor. Kathryn is also a freelance writer and book reviewer, an English professor and Creative Writing Program Director at Anoka-Ramsey Community College, and has served on the Board of Directors for Rain Taxi. Additionally, Kathryn has been an adjunct creative writing professor at Hamline University and an individual representative on the Board of Directors for the Association of Writers and Writing Programs. Kysar holds a BA in English, Anthropology, Sociology, an MFA in Creative Writing, Poetry, and has participated in a National Endowment for the Humanities Seminar.
