Sky Siemers leads the day-to-day operations for the company as president. He brings over two decades of experience in base operations, logistics, and support services. Before joining TLC in 2019, Sky served as vice president of logistics and engineering services at IDS International. Previously, he led the base operations support organization at Centerra Group. In this vice president capacity, he provided global leadership for more than 3,100 employees spanning eight countries and eighteen U.S. states. During his tenure, he oversaw two joint ventures as executive manager and served on the board of four joint ventures.
Prior to that, he served as senior director of operations at DynCorp International, where he provided base operations support analysis and expertise. Sky previously worked for ITT Corporation in a variety of increasingly senior roles and later with its spinoff company, Exelis, where he eventually served as deputy program director. In this capacity, he managed an annual budget of $400 million and provided leadership for 5,000 employees. In 2014, when Exelis spun off Vectrus, Sky served as program manager and leader of the company’s Qatar base operations support services organization.
Sky received a Master’s degree in business administration from Louisiana State University and a Bachelor’s in public administration from Upper Iowa University. He holds executive education certificates from the University of Chicago, the University of Notre Dame, and the University of Michigan. He also holds a project management professional certificate from the Project Management Institute.
