Matthew Rice

Matthew Rice is an experienced aviation and security professional with a proven track record in operations management and safety. Currently serving as Heliport Manager and Operations Manager at The London Heliport Ltd. since September 2022, Matthew previously held the position of Senior Aerodrome Operations Officer at London City Airport from November 2019 to September 2022, where responsibility included leading a team for safe and compliant aerodrome operations. Prior experience includes various roles in the Royal Air Force from February 2011 to November 2019, focusing on protective security and tactical operations, alongside an earlier background in fire safety and ramp operations at London Southend Airport and Swissport, respectively. Matthew holds a BTEC National Diploma in Public Services from Chelmsford College.
