Dan Ownbey

Dan Ownbey is a seasoned creative professional with extensive experience in art direction and graphic design. Currently serving as Sr Art Director at The Looma Project since April 2022, Dan has previously held the position of Art Director/Brand Officer at TransLoc and Senior Graphic Designer at Lee H. Skolnick Architecture + Design Partnership. Dan's career includes significant contributions as Art Director and Department Manager at the American Museum of Natural History, where responsibilities encompassed exhibition graphic design and project management. Early experience includes a Designer role at GlaxoSmithKline, where Dan supported internal communications and promotional materials. Dan Ownbey earned a degree from Emory University between 1992 and 1996.
