Jennifer Sellars, LCSW has a diverse work experience that includes roles in various organizations. Starting from 2004, they worked as a Language Arts Teacher at Eagle's Landing Middle School, where they focused on curriculum development and student support. In 2015, they volunteered at The Weiss School, providing art education and academic guidance to students. Jennifer then interned at Southeast Florida Behavioral Health Network, Inc from 2016 to 2017, where they conducted research, data analysis, and assisted in grant writing. In 2017, they interned at Martin Girls Academy, providing counseling and facilitating therapy sessions for incarcerated adolescent girls. Jennifer'srecent experience includes working at The Lord's Place, where they served as a SOAR Specialist from 2018 to 2020 and is currently the Director of Homeless Outreach and Community Engagement.

Jennifer Sellars, LCSW has a strong educational background in social work and education. Jennifer earned a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from Florida Atlantic University between 2016 and 2018. Prior to that, they completed a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction at the same university from 2002 to 2004. Jennifer also holds a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology, with a minor in English Literature, from the University of Florida, which they obtained from 1996 to 2000. In addition to their academic achievements, Jennifer has obtained certifications such as LCSW from the State of Florida Department of Health and SOAR Trained and Certified from Policy Research and Associates & Southeast Florida Behavioral Health Network.

The program focuses on activities which build trusting relationships and encourage participants to explore making behavioral change. • Supportive Housing Our supportive housing model gives our clients the time they need to address the issues that led to their homelessness and gives them the tools needed to break the cycle of homelessness. • Job Training & Placement Our Job Training and Placement Program addresses the need for homeless men and women to regain economic self-sufficiency. The program assists clients in finding and maintaining employment by offering job training, placement and education programs.
