Jessie Hayward has a diverse work experience. Jessie started their career as a Sales Assistant at Anaconda Group Pty Ltd in October 2009 and worked there until May 2016. In January 2016, they joined My Chemist Warehouse Group as a Community Engagement Coordinator, where they stayed for six years until September 2022. During this time, they gained experience in community fundraising and events as well. In August 2013, Jessie worked as a Marketing Intern at Marketing Eye for a short period of one month. Currently, they are working at The Lost Dogs' Home as a Community Fundraising & Events Lead, starting from September 2022.
Jessie Hayward completed their High School Diploma at Ivanhoe Girls' Grammar School. Jessie then went on to obtain a Bachelor's degree in Health Science from La Trobe University from 2008 to 2010. Later, they pursued a Master's degree in Marketing Management at La Trobe University from 2014 to 2016.

Since 1910 The Lost Dogs’ Home has been a voice for animals without owners. They've been pioneers for fair animal laws and continue to work at the front line to reduce the number of lost, abandoned and stray cats and dogs. The Home relies on public support to provide their Australia-wide services and programs, including: National Pet Register, The Lost Cats’ Home, shelter operations, adoptions and responsible pet ownership education.
