Tarnya O'Neil

Tarnya O'Neil is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in internal audit and risk management. Currently serving as the Project Director for Operational Risk Implementation at The Lottery Corporation since June 2022, Tarnya previously held significant positions including General Manager of Internal Audit at The Lottery Corporation and Executive General Manager of Internal Audit at Tabcorp. With a solid foundation in auditing, Tarnya has also worked as General Manager of Internal Audit and Assurance at The Star Entertainment Group and Head of Group Audit at AGL Energy Limited. Tarnya's career began in the dental industry, eventually transitioning into the financial sector, demonstrating strong leadership and people management skills throughout. Educational qualifications include a Master of Business Technology from UNSW and a Graduate of the AICD course from the Australian Institute of Company Directors, among others.
