Alice Pelton

Alice Pelton is the Founder and CEO of The Lowdown, a women's health platform established in 2019 to address data gaps in contraceptive information. After experiencing side effects from the contraceptive pill, Alice created a review platform to inform other users. In early 2020, Alice participated as a crew member in eXXpedition, a global sailing initiative focused on research into plastic pollution, selected from over 10,000 applicants. Prior professional experiences include serving as Head of Strategy and Operations at News UK, where Alice advanced from marketing to digital product roles and was recognized as the youngest member of the Emerging Leaders Programme. Previous roles also encompassed product and marketing positions at Reckitt Benckiser and a unique startup project in premium dog food. Alice holds a BSc degree from The London School of Economics and Political Science.
