Michael Christ

Michael Christ, Prof. Dr. med., currently serves as Director at Luzerner Kantonsspital since February 2017. Previously, Michael held the position of Director of the Department of Emergency and Critical Care Medicine at Klinikum Nürnberg from May 2008 to August 2022, focusing on emergency and critical care medicine. Research interests include acute chest pain, acute coronary syndrome, syncope evaluation, elderly patient assessment, and sepsis management in emergency departments. Michael's career also includes roles as Oberarzt at Universität Basel and Arzt und Facharzt at Philipps-Universität Marburg. Michael earned a degree in Humanmedizin from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München in 1990.
