Stefan Hunziker has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Stefan started their career as an Assistant Surgeon at Spital STS AG in 1990 and worked there until 1993. Stefan then joined Kantonsspital Aarau AG, where they worked in Surgery and IT from 1993 to 2001. In 2001, they moved to Universitätsspital Basel as an IT Project Manager. From 2002 to 2011, Stefan served as the Head of Medical Informatics at Luzerner Kantonsspital (LUKS). Currently, they hold the position of CIO Group IT at Luzerner Kantonsspital.
Stefan Hunziker's education history begins in 1983 when they enrolled at the University of Basel to pursue their Dr. med. degree in the field of Medicine. Stefan completed their studies in 1989.

Lastly, from 2010 to 2012, Stefan attended the University of Zurich, where they pursued an Executive Master of Business Administration degree.
