Yuan Zhi

Yuan Zhi is a Resident Physician at Luzerner Kantonsspital since November 2022, currently serving as a Doctoral Candidate in Cardiology and leading the OPTIMISER Registry study focused on the management and outcomes of patients with acute myocardial infarction. Previously, Yuan Zhi completed a series of medical internships at various hospitals, gaining experience in internal medicine, general and visceral surgery, anesthesiology, ophthalmology, and radiology from April to December 2021. Yuan Zhi also contributed to cardiovascular research as a Masters Student at the Cardiovascular Research Institute Basel, co-authoring a scientific paper on diagnostic algorithms for myocardial infarction. Educational qualifications include a Master of Medicine from the University of Basel and a Bachelor of Medicine from Université de Fribourg - Universität Freiburg.
