Lesa Brackbill

Manager On Duty/chocolate Lab Instructor/tour Guide at THE M S HERSHEY FOUNDATION

Lesa Brackbill, M.A., currently serves as the Director of Advocacy and Outreach Coordinator for Policy and Advocacy at the Leukodystrophy Newborn Screening Action Network, where successful advocacy led to the implementation of Newborn Screening legislation in Pennsylvania. In addition, Lesa is a Board Member for KrabbeConnect and President of Lesa Brackbill Consulting, LLC, which encompasses various consulting projects related to Newborn Screening and advocacy. As a published author, Lesa wrote “Even So, Joy: Our Journey through Heartbreak, Hope, and Triumph” to educate others about Krabbe Disease. Experience also includes roles at The M.S. Hershey Foundation as Manager on Duty and educator, Relief Houseparent at Milton Hershey School, and previous positions focusing on energy efficiency and government relations. Lesa holds a Master of Arts in Strategic Communication and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Azusa Pacific University.
