Amber Coleman, CCSFP, CHQP, CHC, CHIAP, MBA

Amber Coleman has over 20 years of professional experience in the healthcare and IT industries, having earned their MBA and certifications in CCSFP, CHQP, CHC, and CHIAP. Amber began their career in 2000 as a Pharmacy Technician at Wegmans Food Markets, where they were responsible for training new technicians, providing accurate wait times, verifying and updating patient information, and filling prescription orders. In 2007, they joined Parkview Health as a Finance Manager in the Support Division, where they were responsible for evaluating operating results, identifying opportunities, and developing action plans. Amber then served as Senior Internal Auditor and Pharmacy Compliance Officer for Parkview Health, before joining The Mako Group, LLC in 2020 as IT Audit Manager and Senior Information Technology Auditor.

Amber Coleman holds a Master of Business Administration from Purdue University Fort Wayne, obtained in 2015. Amber also holds a Bachelor of Science in Speech and Language Disabilities from the State University of New York College at Cortland, obtained in 2006. In addition, they hold a Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) from the Health Care Compliance Association (HCCA), obtained in 2014, a Certified Healthcare Internal Audit Professional (CHIAP) from the Association of Healthcare Internal Auditors (AHIA), obtained in 2019, a CCSFP from HITRUST, obtained in 2021, and a CHQP from HITRUST, obtained in 2021.
