Daniel Kirtz is currently the Chief Operating Officer at The Malish Corporation. Prior to this, they served as the Division VP/Business Unit Manager at AMETEK Prestolite Motors from 2006 to 2009 and at AMETEK Advanced Motion Solutions Division from 2016 to 2019.

During their time at AMETEK Prestolite Motors, Kirtz was responsible for developing a strategic plan to assess vertical markets and deploy resources to target a sustainable growth strategy. Daniel also managed full P&L accountability for a $160M business unit with 900 employees globally. Under their leadership, the company was able to negotiate a $60M supply agreement with their largest customer and generate an annual revenue growth of 6.8%.

At AMETEK Advanced Motion Solutions Division, Kirtz spearheaded the new custom motor development for premium blender application which generated revenues in excess of $10M. Daniel also realigned Sales and Engineering to drive increased accountability and oversaw the Supply Chain and Operational Excellence initiatives that realized average annual cost savings over $4M per year. Thanks to their efforts, the division was able to refresh an old, under-developed product line, increasing product performance by 50% and expanding into new markets.

Daniel Kirtz has a Master of Business Administration - MBA from Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University, a BSEE from Penn State University, and has completed executive leadership training at UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School and the Center for Creative Leadership.

Daniel Kirtz reports to Jeffrey J. Malish, President & CEO. They work with Chris Felice - Chief Financial Officer, Bill Imrie - National Sales Manager, Extrusion Division, and Pat Kelley - Engineering Manager. A direct report to Daniel Kirtz is and Gordon Overs - VP, Operations.
