Vít Zikmund

Vít Zikmund is an experienced Infrastructure Specialist at The MAMA AI since March 2021, specializing in self-maintained virtualized environments and Kubernetes clusters, as well as developing DevOps processes and tooling. Previously, Vít served as a Site Reliability Engineer at IBM from November 2010 to March 2021, focusing on IBM Watson Cloud and providing L3 support for IBM DataPower Gateway. Earlier in Vít's career, the role of Software Engineer at CertiCon a.s. involved migrating medical applications to Windows XP embedded, porting applications for Unicode support, and prototyping voice-controlled hospital beds. Vít holds a Master's degree in Computer Science, Design of Digital Systems from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at Czech Technical University in Prague, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics from the same institution.
