George Manahan

George Manahan is the CEO and owner of The Manahan Group, a public affairs company based in Charleston, West Virginia. George has over 25 years of experience in the public relations and government relations fields.

Manahan began their career as a reporter for WSAZ-TV in 1986. George then worked as a Capitol reporter for the MetroNews Radio Network from 1984 to 1986. In 1988, they became the Vice President of Public Relations for Willard & Associates. George then served as Press Secretary for Governor Gaston Caperton from 1990 to 1993.

In 1993, Manahan established their own public affairs company, Manahan & Company. George served as President and CEO of the company until 1998. George then worked as Vice President at thembcgroup from 1999 to 2003. In their current role as CEO of The Manahan Group, they provide public relations and government relations services to clients across the country.

George Manahan's educational career began at Morristown High School in Morristown, NJ. George then went on to study communications at Bethany College.
