David Barker

David Barker is currently a Board Member at THE MANCHESTER GRAMMAR SCHOOL. David has previously worked as the Head of Compliance and Risk and Head of Faculty Administration at the University of Manchester. David has also worked as the School Manager and Development Officer for the School of Biological Sciences at the University of Manchester. David Barker has a long history of working in various administrative positions at the University of Manchester, dating back to 1999. In their current role, they are responsible for the University's corporate risk management framework, legal and regulatory compliance, emergency planning, business continuity, and related matters.

David Barker has a PhD in Algal ecophysiology from The University of Birmingham and the Plymouth Marine Laboratory. David also has a PG Dip. in Management Administration from University of Lancaster, and a BSc. in Biological Sciences from The University of Birmingham. David was educated at The King's School, Macclesfield, a secondary school in England.
