Deborah Goodman

Deborah Goodman has extensive experience in nonprofit organizations, particularly in the areas of development and fundraising. From 2016 to the present, they have been the Senior Vice President of Development at The Marfan Foundation, where they have successfully organized large galas and secured sponsorships, individual gifts, and raffle items. Additionally, they have worked on expanding the organization's signature event into new geographic areas.

Prior to their current position, Deborah worked at the American Heart Association | American Stroke Association for a number of years. From 2007 to 2015, they served as the Senior Vice President, responsible for securing campaign revenue through sponsorships, gifts, and grants. Deborah also managed volunteer recruitment and engagement, staff hiring and training, and new business development in the tri-state area.

Before becoming the Senior Vice President, Deborah was the Vice President at the American Heart Association | American Stroke Association, where they managed special event campaigns in the tri-state area and achieved double-digit growth. Deborah also led initiatives such as Wear Red Day and raised major gift income for a new stroke education initiative.
