Inderjeet Kaur, CPA

Inderjeet Kaur, CPA has over 15 years of experience in the finance and accounting field. Inderjeet currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer at The Marfan Foundation, a position they have held since November 2021. Prior to this role, from October 2019 to November 2021, they were the Senior Director of Finance & HR at the same organization. Inderjeet also served as the Director of Finance and Human Resources from June 2016 to October 2019.

Before joining The Marfan Foundation, Inderjeet worked as the Financial Controller at PANTHERA from October 2014 to May 2016. Prior to that, they held the position of Assistant Director of Finance at BROOKDALE UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL AND MEDICAL CENTER/SHULMAN AND SCHACHNE INSTITUTE FOR NURSING & REHAB from August 2010 to September 2014. In this role, they managed the finance and billing departments of two hospital-based nursing homes.

Inderjeet's earlier experience includes working as a Senior Auditor at BDO Seidman from July 2006 to August 2010, where they participated in audits of major insurance and not-for-profit companies. Inderjeet started their career as an Associate Auditor at LOEB & TROPER, LLP from July 2005 to July 2006, where they participated in audits of not-for-profit companies.

Prior to their auditing roles, Inderjeet worked as an Accountant at HELEN KELLER NATIONAL CENTER from December 2002 to June 2005.

Throughout their career, Inderjeet has demonstrated their expertise in financial management, audit planning, and GAAP compliance. Inderjeet has also provided leadership in financial areas and has a strong background in not-for-profit organizations.

Inderjeet Kaur, CPA has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting and Computer Science from Queens College, which was obtained from 1999 to 2004. Prior to that, Inderjeet attended Richmond Hill High School from 1993 to 1997. In addition to their education, they have obtained a Certified Public Accountant certification from the Department of Education in August 2012.
