Kelly Garner Ed.s

Kelly Garner, Ed.S, currently serves as the Mariners' Lake Program Manager at The Mariners' Museum and Park since August 2022, focusing on developing sustainable on-water programs and community engagement initiatives. In addition, Kelly is the Hampton Roads Chapter Co-Coordinator for Team River Runner, a role commenced in February 2023, aimed at supporting veterans and their families through adventure and adaptive paddle sports. Prior experience includes 18 years as a high school social studies and outdoor education teacher with Newport News Public Schools. Kelly earned an Ed.S in Educational Leadership and Administration from The George Washington University, a Master of Science in Secondary Education from Old Dominion University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Christopher Newport University.
