Paul Svetlov

Paul Svetlov is a Senior Project Engineer in R&D at Marmon Holdings, Inc., specializing in heavy-duty transportation sensors, IoT data acquisition, electrification, and artificial intelligence since January 2023. Previously, Paul worked as a Controls Engineer in R&D at Alamo Group Inc., focusing on controls hardware and software for electrified heavy machinery. Earlier experience includes a role as a Mechatronics Engineer at Schaeffler, where responsibilities encompassed electrical, mechanical, and software development for electromechanical actuators. Paul's professional journey began with an engineering internship at Baldor Electric Company and roles as a teaching assistant and computer maintenance technician at the University of North Carolina at Asheville. Paul earned two Bachelor’s Degrees in Mechatronics Engineering from North Carolina State University and the University of North Carolina Asheville.
