Ilica Mahajan

Computational Journalist at The Marshall Project

Ilica Mahajan is a skilled computational journalist currently employed at The Marshall Project since June 2021, with prior experience as a data fellow. Previous roles include an internship at the Tow Center for Digital Journalism and a software engineering position at 3Scan from December 2015 to April 2019. Ilica has also worked with Planet Labs in the optics and instrumentation team and co-founded Kubra, an early-stage startup that developed a Bluetooth-enabled, ring-based wearable gesture controller, earning recognition in the MIT100K competitions.
