Tammy Burns

Tammy Burns is the current Director of Pharmacy Services at Mary Lanning Healthcare. Tammy has over 10 years of experience in the field of pharmacy, including work as a Senior Administrator for Clinical Research, a Pharmacy Clinical Coordinator, and a Decentralized Pharmacist.

Tammy began their career in 2005 as a Decentralized Pharmacist at Mayo Clinic. In 2007, they transitioned to Creighton University Medical Center as their Pharmacy Clinical Coordinator. Tammy remained in this role for three years until 2010 when they became the Senior Administrator for Clinical Research at Creighton University. Tammy remained in this role for five years until they took their current position at Mary Lanning Healthcare in 2015.

Tammy Burns has a Master of Public Health from Creighton University with a concentration in Public Health Services Administration, a PharmD from Creighton University summa cum laude in Pharmacy, and a BS from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln summa cum laude in Biological Sciences. Tammy is certified as an Epic Credentialed Trainer - Willow and as a Board of Pharmaceutical Specialties BCPS.

They work with Barb Ninabuck - Director, Inpatient Rehabilitation Services, David Long - VP, Ambulatory Services, and Karissa Pinkerman - Director, Clinical Strategy & Analytics. Tammy Burns reports to Adam Horn, Chief Medical Officer.
