Andrea Aplasca is an Associate Veterinarian at The Maryland Zoo in Baltimore since August 2021. Previously, Andrea served as a Veterinary Resident at The Wilds, The Ohio State University, and Columbus Zoo and Aquarium between July 2018 and July 2021. Educational qualifications include a DVM in Veterinary Medicine from Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine, a Veterinary Residency focused on Zoo, Wildlife Conservation Medicine, and Ecosystem Health at The Ohio State University, a Master of Science in Biology from Fordham University, a Bachelor of Arts in Neuroscience from The Johns Hopkins University, and a Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Technology from Mercy University.
