Since July 2001, David has served as a Senior Financial Planner at Mason Investment Advisory Services, Inc. Prior to this role, David was the VP of Business Development at Public Financial Management from July 2000 to June 2001, and held associate positions at Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison and Musick, Peeler & Garrett between 1994 and 1998. David holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Virginia School of Law (1991-1994) and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Princeton University (1985-1989), with earlier education at Phillips Academy (1982-1985).

Mason was founded in 1982 to provide private individuals and families with highly customized financial planning, investment management and charitable giving advice. Mason also provides financial planning to senior corporate executives at companies that sponsor financial planning as a corporate benefit. Since 1982, we have grown our business to include investment consulting for institutions, including foundations, endowments, corporate funds, and retirement plans. Our services for institutions are offered on a traditional or non-discretionary basis and on an outsourced chief investment officer (OCIO) or discretionary basis. Our business was founded on the principle that our clients deserve straightforward, independent advice, offered by highly experienced, trusted advisors who are uninfluenced by the conflicts presented when a firm offers proprietary products. As a boutique investment advisory firm, we provide our clients with advice based on sound, time-tested principles and with the data they need to make sound financial decisions.
