Paul Kennedy possesses extensive experience in the medical laboratory field, currently serving as the Laboratory Manager at The Mater Private Hospital since February 2022. Prior to this role, Paul held the position of Chief Medical Scientist at Beacon Hospital from March 2021 to February 2022 and worked as a Senior Medical Scientist at Beaumont Hospital for 14 years, from January 2007 to March 2021. Early in the career, Paul was a Medical Scientist with the Irish Blood Transfusion Service from January 2004 to December 2006. Academically, Paul earned an MSc in Molecular Pathology from Trinity College, Dublin, between 2008 and 2010, and also holds a Master of Philosophy and an Honors Degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Dublin Institute of Technology, completed in 2003 and 2001, respectively.
