The Math Learning Center
Jackie Amato has extensive experience in mathematics education, currently serving as the Math Learning Center Leader at The Math Learning Center since May 2016 and as an Educational Consultant with FIRST Educational Resources since June 2021. Jackie has been involved with USMRC since July 2008 as a Math Recovery Leader and AVMR Champion, and has also contributed as a Math Recovery Intervention Specialist in collaboration with USMRC and Menasha Joint School District since 2006. Previous roles include District Math Coordinator and K-5 Math Coach for Menasha Joint School District from August 2012 to June 2022, and Instructional Support Teacher at Oshkosh Area School District from 2005 to August 2012. Earlier teaching experience includes positions as a 4/5 Multiage Teacher at Carl Traeger Elementary School from August 2000 to August 2005 and as a 4th Grade Teacher at Emmeline Cook Elementary School from August 1989 to August 2000. Jackie Amato holds a Master of Science in Education and a Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh.

The Math Learning Center (MLC) is a nonprofit organization serving the education community. Our mission is to inspire and enable individuals to discover and develop their mathematical confidence and ability. We offer innovative and standards-based curriculum, resources, and professional development. Our products and services are used by educators throughout the United States and in many international locations.
