Michael Scarcella

Michael Scarcella has a diverse work experience in the media and production industry. Michael is currently serving as the Director of Operations at The Mayda Creative Co. Prior to this role, they worked as the Head of Operations at Framestore from March 2020 to October 2021. From January 2018 to March 2020, they held the position of Head of Operations - LA at The Mill. Michael also served as an Operations Manager - NY from September 2016 to December 2017 and as a VFX Producer from September 2015 to September 2016 at The Mill. Additionally, they worked as a Scheduler & Creative Resource Manager - 2D/Editorial from March 2013 to September 2015 at The Mill. Earlier in their career, they had positions as a Production Assistant at OBS - Olympic Broadcasting Services and Red Balloon Productions, and as a Production Manager and Production Assistant at Red Balloon Productions.

Michael Scarcella earned a Bachelor's degree in Multimedia Studies with a focus on Film, Video, and New Media from Florida Atlantic University from 2005 to 2010. Michael then pursued a Master's degree in Film/Video Production at Bournemouth University from 2011 to 2012.
