Tomi Buchman, CRP, GMS has extensive work experience in human resources and administration. Tomi currently works as an HR Generalist at The McAlear Group, Inc. since 2018. Prior to this, they served as an HRIS Analyst at Cooper Tire & Rubber Company starting from 2013.
From 2010 to 2013, Tomi worked at Cooper-Standard Automotive as a Sr. HR Coordinator, where they conducted interviews, managed new hire orientation, and oversaw various HR functions such as recalls, layoffs, and unemployment processing. Tomi was also responsible for coordinating FMLA and sick leave compensation.
Before joining Cooper-Standard Automotive, Tomi was involved in various roles at Thomas & Betts (formerly Lamson & Sessions Co.) since 1994. These roles included Human Resource Analyst, where they processed payroll and maintained personnel records, Senior Administrative Assistant, and Production/Purchase Coordinator.
Tomi Buchman, CRP, GMS has a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Lourdes College. Additionally, they hold an Associate's degree in Applied Business Accounting Technology from Owens Technical College. They are also a High School graduate from Notre Dame Academy.
