Annika Torkelson

Annika Torkelson is a seasoned music educator with extensive experience in teaching music across various age groups. Currently serving as a Music Educator at The McGillis School since August 2018, Annika has previously held positions as a Music Specialist at the IJ & Jeanné Wagner Jewish Community Center and as a Private Piano Teacher. Additional experience includes roles as a Music Educator in the Salt Lake City School District, and teaching music to 5th to 8th graders at Laura Jeffrey Academy, among other teaching positions in several districts since 2009. Annika holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Education from Gustavus Adolphus College and furthered education at the University of St. Thomas.
