Stephen M. Mercurio

Stephen M. Mercurio serves as President of The McGuire Group. In this capacity, he is responsible for the oversight, management, and direction of services for the company’s 2,100 employees and six facilities: Autumn View Health Care Facility in Hamburg, Garden Gate Health Care Facility in Cheektowaga, Harris Hill Nursing Facility in Williamsville, Northgate Health Care Facility in North Tonawanda, Seneca Health Care Center in West Seneca and Brookhaven Health Care Facility in East Patchogue.

Steve joined The McGuire Group in 1992. He served as vice president for 15 years before being appointed president. As vice president, he played an integral role in policy development and implementation at each facility and demonstrated a strong commitment to quality care for the residents and leadership amongst his peers.

He is an active member of the American College of Health Care Administrators and was past president of the New York State Health Facilities Association (NYSHFA), District 10. Steve holds a Master’s Degree in Health Care Administration from the University at Buffalo and a bachelor’s in nursing from D’Youville College. He is also a New York State Licensed Nursing Home Administrator.
