Sarah Lavery

Sarah Lavery is a dedicated clinical research assistant at McLean Hospital's Division of Alcohol, Drugs, and Addiction since June 2024, contributing to impactful research funded by the National Institute on Drug Abuse. Prior to this role, Sarah served as an undergraduate research assistant at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia from June 2022 to May 2024, focusing on optical neuroimaging in pediatric cardiology, and presented findings at a prominent neuroscience conference. Sarah's academic journey includes a Bachelor's degree in Cognitive Neuroscience and a minor in Healthcare Management from the University of Pennsylvania, where participation as a Division I High Jumper on the varsity track and field team showcased exceptional athleticism and teamwork. Additionally, Sarah promoted women's athletics as a team representative and gained experience in the tech industry through roles at Vicor Corporation.
