Fabio Nehme is a seasoned professional in the carbon and environmental commodities sector, currently serving as Senior EVP and Global Head of Carbon at ReNew, a leading international group focused on decarbonisation infrastructure solutions. With extensive experience spanning various roles, including Director of Carbon and Environmental Commodities at Commonwealth Bank and Founder and CEO of Nehme Commodities, Nehme has been instrumental in trading and financing carbon markets. In addition to leadership roles at The MCS Foundation and the Climate Chain Coalition, Nehme contributes to climate action initiatives through membership in the Hyperledger Foundation and the Open Data Institute. Educational credentials include an MBA from IMD, an MA from Johns Hopkins SAIS, and a BSc in Economics from the Universidade de São Paulo.

We plan to achieve our vision by setting quality standards for micro generation products and installers, raising public awareness of renewables through education and engagement programmes and by promoting study and funding research into renewable and low carbon technology in order to drive innovation and widespread adoption. MCS Charitable Foundation is now the sole shareholder for MCS (Microgeneration Certification Scheme), the nationally recognised quality assurance scheme which demonstrates the quality and reliability of approved products and installation companies.
