Chelsea Jarvie

Chelsea Jarvie currently serves as the Chief Information Security Officer at The MDU since May 2022 and is the Managing Director of Neon Circle, a consultancy focused on information security and data privacy, since April 2019. As a co-founder and Chief Information Security Officer at PRAEFERRE, Chelsea aids businesses in managing customer data ethically. Previously, Chelsea held various roles, including Head of Security Culture and Skills at M&G plc and Head of Security Operations at The Scottish Government, where responsibilities included embedding cybersecurity best practices and developing security strategies. Chelsea's educational background includes a PhD in Online Age Verification from the University of Strathclyde, a BSc (Hons) in Ethical Hacking from Abertay University, and a Diploma in Cognitive Coaching from the Institute of Counselling.
