The MDU
Rachel Whitehead currently serves as the Head of Procurement at The MDU, starting in January 2024. Prior to this role, Rachel held the position of Head of Supplier Management at Masthaven Bank from May 2020 to December 2023, where responsibilities included developing processes, drafting policies, and negotiating contracts to align with regulatory requirements. Rachel's extensive experience includes roles such as Senior Manager - Supplier Management at Cloud Optics Limited, Contracts Manager at JLT Group, and Supplier Relationship Manager at Legal and General, among others. A proven leader in supplier management and client development, Rachel has a strong background in negotiating contracts and fostering beneficial relationships in various sectors, including financial services and fleet management. Rachel's career began as a Sales Executive and Administrator in the natural stone industry, contributing to a comprehensive skill set shaped through progressively responsible positions.
