Serona Elton is a seasoned professional in the music industry with extensive experience in education and administration. Currently serving as the Head of Educational Partnerships at The Mechanical Licensing Collective since March 2020, Elton engages future industry members through outreach efforts. As a Professor and Director of the Music Industry Program at the University of Miami since August 2006, Elton oversees various degree offerings and key activities like program marketing and academic advising. Previously held roles include Vice President of Product Management at Warner Music Group, where guidance was provided on licensing and data standards, and President of the Music and Entertainment Industry Educators Association, leading initiatives for music business educators.
