Melissa Ohman

Melissa Ohman has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Melissa started their career as a Registered Nurse at Integris Bass Baptist Health in 2004. Melissa then worked as a Registered Nurse at Banner Health and Preferred Healthcare Staffing before joining Valley Health as a Clinical Supervisor in 2007. Melissa later worked as a Registered Nurse at The Medical Center of Aurora/Centennial Medical Plaza and as an Assistant Nurse Manager at Littleton Adventist Hospital. In 2013, they started working at Kaiser Permanente, initially as a Registered Nurse and later promoted to Nurse Manager. Currently, they hold the position of RN Manager Cardiovascular Services at The Medical Center of Aurora, where they have been since 2019. Melissa's most recent promotion is to the role of RN Director Cardiovascular Services in 2021.

Melissa Ohman holds a Master's degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management, which they obtained from Colorado State University Global between 2013 and 2015. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs, from 2000 to 2004. Melissa Ohman has also acquired additional certifications such as Certified Nurse Manager and Leader (CNML) from the American Organization for Nursing Leadership in February 2021, and Nurse Executive (NE-BC) from the American Nurses Credentialing Center in August 2020.
