Damaris Parra, Ph.D CHRP®, has a diverse work experience in various human resources and organizational development roles. Damaris is currently the Vice President of Human Resources and Organization Development at The Medical City Clinic since August 2020. Prior to that, they served as the Vice President of Human Resources at QualiMed Health Network from April 2018 to October 2019. Damaris also held the position of Global HR Head at Asia Fusion Technology, Inc. - SATI from September 2015 to February 2018. Before joining SATI, they worked as a Human Resources/Training Consultant at Guthrie Jensen Consultants, Inc. for six years from July 2009 to September 2015. Damaris was also an HR Manager at Rudette Foods Corporation from March 2008 to May 2009 and an HR Project Manager at Tamsons Ent., Inc. from June 2007 to December 2007. Damaris started their career as a School Director at AMA Education System (SASN) from May 2005 to May 2007 and as an HR Generalist at Hotel Carmelita from November 2003 to April 2005.
Damaris Parra, Ph.D CHRP®, holds an extensive educational background in various fields. Damaris obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Human Resources Management from the University of Santo Tomas in 2014. Additionally, they completed the Organizational Development Program at the AIHR | Academy to Innovate HR. Damaris also holds a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Education with a focus on Language Teaching from St. Joseph College. Furthermore, they achieved their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Tourism from the University of Santo Tomas, where they graduated Cum Laude and received the Most Outstanding Student Awardee recognition.
