The Mega Agency is a global editorial photo agency and publishing technology platform built for the speed of modern media.

Founded by industry veterans with decades of experience, Mega represents photographers and media partners around the world who capture authentic editorial imagery as events unfold. From breaking news and red carpets to major sporting events and cultural moments, Mega’s global contributor network documents the real world in real time — producing the trusted, on-the-ground photography publishers rely on every day.

Today, Mega’s archive contains millions of authentic editorial images and continues to grow daily as photographers capture the moments shaping the global news cycle.

But Mega is more than a traditional photo agency.

As the media industry evolves, publishers are under increasing pressure to produce more content faster and with fewer resources. Mega has responded by building modern tools designed to help newsrooms operate at the pace of digital publishing.

Our global platform allows publishers everywhere to search, discover, and license authentic editorial imagery instantly through a fast, modern e-commerce system. Images that once required agency relationships and manual requests can now be licensed in seconds.

Alongside the licensing platform, Mega has introduced StoryCreation™, an AI-powered editorial tool that transforms curated image selections into ready-to-publish story packages. Editors can generate structured story content in seconds or send images, captions, photographer bylines, and metadata directly into their CMS workflows.

Together, these tools help publishers of all sizes — from independent creators and regional publishers to major international news organizations — produce more stories, illustrate them with real-world imagery, and reach audiences faster.

At Mega, our mission is simple:
to make the world’s stories easier to tell.
