Baidy Barton

Baidy Barton serves as the Commercialisation Director at The Melt and Melt Ventures since August 2023, where support for climate tech and advanced manufacturing companies is provided to enhance growth and expedite market entry. Baidy Co was established in July 2023 as a platform to assist B2B and enterprise software companies, complementing efforts at The Melt. Additionally, Baidy Barton is a Facilitator at the Governance Institute of Australia, guiding governance education, and has been a Coach and Speaker for Startmate since September 2021, mentoring in the Women's Fellowship program. In a volunteer capacity, Baidy Barton contributes as an Independent member of the Finance, Audit and Compliance Committee for Surf Life Saving NSW. Previous roles include Chief Customer Officer at Yellow Canary and Membership in Scale Investors Ltd. A former Partner at PKF Sydney & Newcastle, Baidy Barton was recognized as the youngest individual to attain such a position within a global professional services firm. Educational credentials include a Graduate Diploma in Chartered Accounting and a Bachelor of Commerce with Distinction from the University of Newcastle.
