Currently serving as the Director and Chief Operations Officer at The Melt since June 2018, Brett focuses on the intersection of hardware product development and business strategy. In addition, Brett holds the position of Chief Operations Officer at Slingshot, Australia's leading corporate accelerator provider, since May 2017, and previously contributed to CoVentured in the same capacity, facilitating global access to emerging technology. Prior experience spans several notable roles, including Client Services Director at ION and Director of QML Services at Triple Point Technology, where responsibilities included managing client services and global product support. Early career contributions at QMASTOR Limited involved significant project management and consulting in the mining sector, along with a foundational role as Senior Surveyor at Thales Geosolutions, where Brett was integral to critical infrastructure projects globally. Brett Thomas holds a Bachelor of Surveying from the University of Newcastle.
