Trent Bagnall is a seasoned entrepreneur and business leader with extensive experience in the startup ecosystem and advanced manufacturing sectors. Currently serving as Managing Partner at Melt Ventures since July 2021, Trent focuses on providing capital and expertise to Australian startups with a global outlook. As Chair of Camplify and Founder of both The Melt and Slingshot, Trent drives innovation in peer-to-peer sharing, industrial prototyping, and corporate acceleration programs. Additionally, Trent founded CoVentured to connect startups with corporates for collaborative opportunities. Academic contributions include a tenure as Professor of Practice in Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the University of Newcastle. With a strong background in management roles at QMASTOR and Triple Point Technology, coupled with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science, a Graduate Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety, and fellowship with the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Trent Bagnall exemplifies leadership in fostering entrepreneurial growth and economic development.
