Todd Parker

Todd Parker has a diverse work experience across various roles and industries. Todd is currently working at MEMIC as an Information Security Engineer since March 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Maine Medical Center in the same role from September 2017 to February 2021. Before that, they worked at Sage Data Security, LLC as an nDiscovery Log Forensics Analyst from September 2015 to September 2017. Todd also has experience as a Security Analyst at NIC Inc. from May 2014 to August 2015, where they were involved in managing the state's web portal and building online government services. Todd started their career in 2003 as a Munitions Systems Journeyman in the United States Air Force. Before their current role, Todd worked as an Academic Peer Tutor at the University of Maine at Augusta from August 2011 to December 2013, primarily assisting fellow students with overcoming academic barriers.

Todd Parker has a strong education background in computer information systems and security. Todd obtained a Master's degree in Computer Information Systems with a concentration in Security from Boston University Metropolitan College, graduating in 2018. Before that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems at the University of Maine at Augusta, where they studied from 2010 to 2014. Prior to their Bachelor's degree, Todd also earned an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Computer Information Systems from the same institution between 2010 and 2012.

In addition to their formal education, Todd has obtained several certifications to enhance their knowledge and skills in the field. Todd became a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) in October 2020 through (ISC)². Todd also holds a GIAC Certified Forensics Analyst (GCFA) certification, obtained from GIAC Certifications in August 2019. In September 2018, they gained a GIAC Continuous Monitoring certification. Furthermore, Todd holds a Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP) certification from (ISC)², achieved in August 2016. Todd also possesses certifications in Network+ and Security+, which they received from CompTIA in December 2015 and October 2015, respectively.
